How does it mount to the car: The Colibri attaches to the tailgate of the car via 4 straps. All the hooks have a protective coating that prevents them from damaging the car’s paint. The bottom hooks have a special rubber pad that enhances the stability of the installation.

This rack cannot be mounted on cars that have a plastic spoiler.
